Business Development Manager

Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm (5days work week)




  • Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plans to approach and secure new business for the Company.
  • Follow up on sales leads and referrals predominantly sourced from self-initiated field activity as well as from leads received from our global network.
  • Establish and maintain good contacts and relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Support your sales strategies and targets with regular updates to the Sales Manager.
  • Making every effort to maximize both present and long term sales and gross profits.
  • Effectively execute and manage every element of the sales process on an individual level and when appropriate, blend in productively as a team-member with Customer Service and Operations.
  • Disseminate information pertaining to new products and service opportunities, special developments, information or any other relevant feedback gathered through field activity.


  • Excellent track record in successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • At least 4-5 years of sales-experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Possess the job-relevant social competencies, have a very good command of the English language and overall good communication and interpersonal skills.
